FSSAI Basic Registration License
The very small-sized food operators having the annual turnover of up to Rs. 12 lakh are needed to obtain the FSSAI Basic Registration License. It is also issued by the government of the state where the FBOs reside. The tenure of the basic registration license can vary from 1 year to 5 years.
The procedure of FSSAI Registration

Step 1: You need to submit the Form A which requires a fee of Rs. 100.

Step 3: The Registration Authority or the RA will review the application to check the details given by you and then decide whether or not to grant the application. This may take at least 7 days of the receipt of the application.
Step 4: The RA may also request for further inspection of the documents within these 7 days. In that case, the inspection has to be done within 30 days of the receipt of the application.
Step 5: After the registration is granted, you are allowed to start your business.
